Awaz Apni HYDERABAD: Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik entered matrimony at a Nikah ceremony today. Dressed in a beautiful red saree, Sania posed pretty as she headed for the venue on Monday, an Indian TV channel reported.
Earlier today, Sania Mirza’s spokesperson Rucha Nayak confirmed that Shoaib and Sania would materialise their Nikah on Monday, followed by mehndi ceremony on April 13, sangeet on April 14 and the reception will be held on April 15 as scheduled.
Nevertheless, Sania’s PRO also revealed that the tennis star will be wearing the same red saree, which her mother wore at her own Nikah 25 years back. Also, she is stated to go for a subtle make-up and the much raved about Arabic mehndi. On the other hand, Shoaib is set to wear a Black sherwani designed by renowned designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil.

Awaz Apni Hyderabad: Breaking News! In a dramatic development, Sania Mirza married Shoaib Malik at Hotel Taj Krishna minutes ago. The nikah took place in the presence of selective family members and relatives.
Earlier, it was reported that Sania and Shoaib's wedding will take place on April 15. However, they took the media and public by surprise with a statement that their nikaah will be held today on April 12.
Sania was seen coming out of the house in a red-coloured desiner wedding saree. She wore the same saree, which her mother wore during her own wedding 25 years ago. Shoaib Malik's picture was not available when this article was being written.
Seven vehicles carrying 25/30 people started from Sania's residence and reached Hotel Taj Krishna, where the wedding took place. The nikah was reportedly pre-scheduled due to security reasons.
Other ceremonies such as sangeet and mehndi may be held over the next two days. A grand reception will be held at Hotel Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on April 15.
